I think that this image represents The Crystal Merchant because he aced like a crystal.

He told Santiago about persueing his personal dream and how it will affect his life. Same as for a phycic person, the crystal merchant told him that if he truely belives in him self he will become who he really is.

Throught all the presentations that I saw, there are many things that i saw people do. For example, a lot of people gave many good examples that gave me good information that will help me on the final. A specific group that did this was group number 7. Although this is my group, i think that we did a great job because we all had different times to share out stuff. Despite the fact that we all had different ideas, we had to debate about how each of our ideas had affected santiao and which is better. Another thing that i learned is that is that omens have a big deal in our daily life. For example like group 4 said, eversince omens came about, people started worrying more about life and worshipping some gods.

The House on Mango Street

In the book "The House on Mango Street" it talks about how miserable a girl’s life is and how she hates moving around so much throughout her young life. The main characters name is Esperanza. Her name means many letters in Spanish and it also means hope. Her name is Esperanza because her grandmother was also named Esperanza many people such as her teacher pronounces her name awkward which annoys her much. Ever since she has been moving from place to place, many people have been annoying her. Maybe this is a reason why she moves. Any ways Esperanza and her five other siblings (Mom, Dad, Carlos, Kiki, her sister and Nenny) all live in a crowded place where they hardly get what they ever need.
